Carissa and Nick Atchison of Westville, Okla., announce the birth of a son, Brayden Wayne Atchison on Oct. 22, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs. He weighed 6 pounds, and was 19 inches long. He was welcomed home by a sister, Kynzie. Grandparents are Lynn and Debbie Bolin of Westville, Donna Hawkins of Woodall, Okla., and Danny Atchison of Westville. Great-grandparents are Richard and Sandra Goswick of Siloam Springs, Erlene Pilgrim of Gentry and the late Gordon Pilgrim, Clifton Bolin of Strang, Okla., and Bill and Imogene Atchison of Westville.

Alyssa Bernice Poindexter

Terri Poindexter of Gentry and Wilbur Poindexter of Lipscomb, Texas, announce the birth of a daughter, Alyssa Bernice Poindexter, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs on Oct. 30, 2009. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 20 inches long. She is welcomed by two brothers, Dylan and Rilie. Her grandparents are the late Wesley Altland; Marla Altland of Gentry; Diane Range of Arnett, Okla; and Wilbur Poindexter of Buffalo, Okla. Great-grandmothers are Violet Knowles of Joplin, Mo., and Bernice Poindexter of Buffalo.
