Blood drives set for Gentry and Decatur

Main Street, Gentry; and from 2 to 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 31, at the Decatur Medi Clinic, 346 N. Main Street, Decatur.
Huls completes Navy basic

Hunter education offered
Posted: August 26, 2009 8:36 p.m.A hunter education course - required of all hunters born after Dec. 31, 1968 - will be offered at the Hobbs State Park Conservation Area Visitor's Center on Saturday, Aug. 29. The course begins at 8 a.m. and will last until 8 p.m. (Children under the age of 16 may hunt without the course as long as they are under the direct supervision of a licensed adult, age 21 or older.) Steve Dunlap, Education Coordinator for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, will present the class.
